Message Amen...

I swapped to LS last summer, and I am tickled with the results. I parted my motor and got all the money I needed to do the swap.

It is not as powerful in it's current form as my VG was when it was built out, but guess what? I don't care because I have not had even one issue with it since it was installed. No leaks, ticks, rattles, or anything else.

There is enough room in the bay to work on or change anything I need to, parts are half the cost of VG, and if I wanted to, for about 2500 bucks, and a few weekend's work, I could throw some turbos on it and have a 600hp torque monster on about 9 or 10 pounds of boost. It starts every time I turn the key, sounds great, and is still a blast to drive in it's current form.

I do not regret swapping to the LS.
